I found WT incredibly boring as a result - bc in reality your best bet was to sit in bush, well concealed, and kill tanks that advance into you. WT is mainly a simulation build around a game. WoT and WoWS are games first and foremost and simulations 2nd.

WoWs also has really good, extremely fun events.įirst of all WoT has a lot more players than WT but most of those are not on steam bc you can also download the game directly from Wargaming. Or is at least has very good momentum as they try to drag it down further with subs. Meanwhile, for all it has failed, warships can at least balance itself and its gameplay loops. WT might balance itself out when everyone has battleships, but honestly considering you can shoot spawn to spawn I don't see much future in WT battleships. There's just fundamental balance issues in warships that WT can't or won't address that generally works itself out with planes and tanks with br adjustments and tuning that simply does not work when there are orders of magnitude difference in ship effectiveness at any and all levels of ships (and even trying to be realistic, your ships still have arbitrary abstracted health and you have to do a lot more grind for basics). Having played both and being a very vocal critic of WoWs over the years, WoWs forgot more about being a good game than warthunder ever tried to learn about it.
